From modest beginnings
Let's face it, the first generation Nissan Juke is quite an icon. Originally unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, it polarised audiences with its looks. It was however, and has remained a unique, standout vehicle in an otherwise crowded market. And it's now time to pass the reins over to the brand new 2020 model.
The original Nissan Juke was built at the company's Sunderland plant for the European market, and launched in the UK in September 2010. It was an overwhelming success far surpassing Nissan's monthly sales target of 1,300 with a whopping 10,943 orders!
Revised in 2014, the facelift Nissan Juke has continued it's success thanks to its individual styling, spacious but compact proportions and onboard technology. The small SUV market has become a busy one in the last few years and with competition from the likes of the Suzuki Vitara and Suzuki S-Cross, Nissan have had to up their game with the new 2020 model.
"The second-generation Nissan Juke is bigger, lighter and better equipped than its predecessor"
